Our club, founded in 1967, maintains a club site
facility with club house, 300 ft. of docks and 10,000 sq. ft. of
harbor on beautiful Big Lake, Alaska. The club site is active
from mid-May until mid-September.
The club owned fleet consists of a 24' RL, 4 Skipjacks, 2 FJs, and a Laser. Member owned boat
types
include Buccaneer, Hobie 16, Laser, Skipjack, 505, Demon, Lido 14, Trac 14, MacGregor, Balboa, Venture and Ensenada.
We are a small club of dedicated sailors with the
emphasis on fun rather than protocol and blue
blazers. Annual sailing classes are held for beginning sailors and new
members. A summer race series culminates with the annual
Governor's Cup series Labor Day Weekend.
Interested parties can print, complete and send
in membership forms for review. We are looking for sailors, or
people eager to learn to sail, and who are willing to contribute
something more than just dues. |
